In an attempt to encourage parents and children alike to be comfortable in and around t he water’s edge\, Kapiti Parents Centre has teamed up with Coastlands Aqua tic Centre to bring our members heavily discounted Swimming & Water Confid ence Classes.

For Term 4 these will be held on Mondays & Thursdays for Infants.

Reverend Carr ole will read the Christmas story & Kate will be hosting Christmas Parties with fun activities for the whole family to enjoy.

Wednesday 19th 3 pm we invite families to join us in a special Christmas session at Sevenoaks retirement village .

Pregnant and want to know about giving birth before the big event? Then our Antenatal classes are the way to go. Led by a Qualified Childbirth Educator\, the c lasses cover the following:

You will meet with other parents who are shari ng the same experience as you\, and establishment of a coffee group (a lif e-line for many new parents!)

Our Childbirth Education classes run for seven weeks\, on Wednesday nights from 7:00pm until 9:00pm. We recom mend that you book early to avoid disapointment at not being able to secur e a place on the course. Check out the calendar for each month to see when our next classes will be run.

Courses are best booked so you star t them between 27-32 weeks of pregnancy\, to ensure there is not too much of a gap at the end of the course and your baby being born. The only exce ption to this is if you are expecting multiples\, then it is recommended y ou start the course as early as 24 weeks.

Our classes are very pop ular\, and to avoid disappointment please contact us as early as possible to secure your booking\, many people often book from 12-14 weeks.
